I'm a Boston native, and as a young man moved to NYC to further my career as a Media Artist, working as an actor, writer and producer in the 1980's.
In New York I worked on a series of TV shows and films on both sides of the camera for companies including HBO/Showtime, American Playhouse and The Apollo.
Also on TV commercials and Music Videos during the dawn of MTV. And also worked as a fashion photographer.
After many years in the industry I returned to school receiving both my Bachelors and Masters Degree in Journalism and Media Management from Norfolk State University.
While in school I hosted "The Quiet Storm" radio show for Norfolk's Clearchannel station 105.3FM, and after graduation I began a new career as a TV News Reporter.
I worked at stations in Salisbury MD, Birmingham AL, Raleigh/Durham NC, Charleston SC, Freeport LA, and Norfolk VA.
I next ventured into Entertainment TV News, co-hosting a show in Boston called "The Unscene"
Next I anchored and produced a new cable TV News show about much of the latest research and development at NASA, as part of the Obama Administrations initiative to advance the nation's STEM learning techniques for students. The show was called "Ed-line News"
When that Presidential administration ended, I began teaching Journalism, TV News-writing and News Production at Hampton University. While also hosting an R&B and Jazz show on WHOV 88.1 FM. (Which I still host Friday's 7pm-Midnight)
Today, I remain a resident of Hampton Virginia. I began a production company called KDH Media. We produce a reality show I created about Realtors, called "Home Sweet Home, Hampton Roads." Which airs on the CW network.
And I currently have many other projects I'm excited about, and working on bringing to both Film and TV screens.
