And how many of us ever meet our first TV crush—let alone become their friend?
The Girl from ZOOM was mine, and this story is my answer to that once-in-a-lifetime question.
By a wild chance of events, Nancy (yes, that Nancy) and I became friends. And after decades of nudging, she finalky trusted me with her truth; I added mine from the other side of the screen and—with her blessing—have woven them into a single story about her shooting-star early fame, life after the show and a friendship that surprised us both.
